Thin Ice just picked up some bottle cap magnets made by a new local artist. Now, when I say bottle cap magnets you probably think, yeah, so what? because ordinarily bottle cap magnets aren't that impressive. Until you see these....
These bottle cap magnets are made by taking safety bottle caps, so they won't slice your fingers, and placing a 3 dimensional object inside them then filling the cap with a lacquer, waiting a full 24 hours for it to dry, then repeating the process until you are left with a really cool, one of a kind magnet.
The details on the magnets are really great - from the googley eyes to real bullets (gun powder removed) to spools of thread hand threaded by the artist! Stop in to pick out your favorite magnet!
